International Speakers
Dr. Gustavo Zucca-Matthes
  • Gustavo Zucca, MD, PhD
  • Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon & Consultant
  • Former head of the world’s first Oncoplastic Training Center at Barretos Cancer Hospital (2008–2018) and creator of the Master Trainer, the first realistic breast oncoplastic simulator. Author and international lecturer dedicated to advancing the philosophy of oncoplastic breast surgery.
  • Currently co-coordinator of the Ultimate Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Course in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Dr. Silvia Condrea
  • Plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona, originally from Romania
  • Specialized in microsurgery, breast reconstruction, and lymphedema surgery
  • Actively engaged in education and training as faculty at national and international meetings, supporting the development of young surgeons
  • Co-author of recent publications in reconstructive microsurgery, including immediate lymphatic reconstruction
  • Combines daily clinical practice with research and academic work, integrating innovation with patient-centered care
Dr. Peter A. Barry
  • Mr Barry has both a private and an NHS practice at The Royal Marsden.
  • Mr Barry qualified from University of Sydney, Australia, in 2000. He obtained a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology and undertook a clinical fellowship in sarcoma and melanoma as well as with the Breast Unit at The Royal Marsden from 2000–02.
  • He had a surgical oncology practice in Australia, with an interest in breast oncoplastic techniques and reconstructive options following cancer surgery as well as preventative surgery for high-risk women. He also performs ultrasound of the breast in the clinic and operating theatre to localise breast lesions. He joined the Breast Unit at The Royal Marsden as a consultant in August 2012.
